A new **Royal Enfield Classic 350 Gorkha Edition has been photographed at a dealership yard in India, hinting at an imminent launch across the border. This special version is designed as a tribute to the Gorkha Regiment of the Indian Army**, giving the familiar Classic 350 a more military-themed road presence.

In Nepal, the standard Classic 350 currently sits at Rs 5.55 lakh – Rs 5.95 lakh across 12 variants, with key trims such as Chrome (Emerald Green) at Rs 5.80 lakh, Signals (Commando Sand) at Rs 5.66 lakh, and Emerald (Dual Channel ABS) at Rs 5.95 lakh. Around this price band, Royal Enfield already offers the **Meteor 350 at Rs 5.77 lakh – Rs 5.97 lakh, the Goan Classic 350 at Rs 5.98 lakh – Rs 6.02 lakh, and the more affordable Hunter 350 at Rs 4.64 lakh – Rs 4.83 lakh, while the bigger Scram 411 and Scram 440 sit higher at Rs 6.67 lakh and Rs 6.90 lakh – Rs 7 lakh** respectively. This gives a clear idea of where any future Gorkha Edition Classic 350 for Nepal would likely sit if introduced.

The Gorkha Edition stands out visually with a matte military green paint finish, Gorkha Edition badging on the side panels and fuel tank, and the crossed khukri insignia associated with the Gorkha Rifles. Chrome-finished engine cases, exhaust and chrome wire-spoke wheels complete the retro, regimental-inspired look.

Under the bodywork, the bike is expected to stay mechanically identical to the regular Classic 350. It continues with Royal Enfield's 349cc single-cylinder J-series engine, producing 20.2 hp and 27 Nm of torque, paired with a five-speed gearbox. The Classic 350's relaxed, easy-going riding character and comfortable cruising behavior are therefore unchanged; the appeal here is the new styling rather than performance upgrades.

The Gorkha Edition's launch in India is expected to be very close, with indications pointing to an 18 August 2026 India launch date. However, Royal Enfield has not yet announced any Nepal-specific plan or price for this Gorkha Edition. For now, interested Nepali buyers can only treat this as a special India-market derivative that hints at what a future, more militaristic Classic 350 variant for Nepal could look like.
