Royal Enfield’s **Goan Classic 350 has gone on sale in Nepal, bringing a factory-built bobber-style motorcycle to the 350cc segment at Rs 5.98 lakh – Rs 6.02 lakh ex-showroom**.

Where the Goan Classic 350 Sits in Royal Enfield’s Nepal Range

The Goan Classic 350 is priced between Rs 5.98 lakh and Rs 6.02 lakh across four variants, placing it right at the upper end of Royal Enfield’s 350cc family in Nepal.

  • Goan Classic 350 Purple Haze: Rs 5.98 lakh
  • Goan Classic 350 Shack Black: Rs 5.98 lakh
  • Goan Classic 350 Rave Red: Rs 6.02 lakh
  • Goan Classic 350 Trip Teal: Rs 6.02 lakh

In the current Royal Enfield lineup, it sits just above most **Meteor 350 variants (Rs 5.77 lakh – Rs 5.97 lakh) and overlaps with the top Classic 350 trims (Rs 5.55 lakh – Rs 6.02 lakh). Above it are the Scram 411 at Rs 6.67 lakh and Scram 440 at Rs 6.90 lakh – Rs 7 lakh, while the more affordable Hunter 350** starts lower at Rs 4.64 lakh and goes up to Rs 5 lakh. This makes the Goan Classic 350 one of the more premium 350cc options, aimed at riders who want distinctive styling rather than the lowest possible price.

Design: Factory Bobber With Goa-Inspired Styling

Royal Enfield Meteor 350

The Goan Classic 350 is Royal Enfield’s first factory bobber-style motorcycle in Nepal, built on the familiar Classic 350 platform but with a very different attitude.

Royal Enfield has styled the bike around a laid-back, old-school Goa vibe from the 1970s and 80s, mixing retro nostalgia with a relaxed, free-spirited feel. Key bobber cues include:

  • Low-slung, cantilevered single seat with a 750 mm seat height, significantly lower than the Classic 350’s 805 mm.
  • Ape-hanger handlebars, taller than those on the Classic 350 and Meteor 350, giving a more upright and commanding posture.
  • Forward-set footpegs, creating a relaxed cruising triangle for city and highway use.

For practicality, the Goan Classic 350 also offers a removable pillion seat that can be added when you need to carry a passenger, preserving the clean solo look when riding alone.

The rear of the bike is heavily reworked to underline its bobber identity. The rear fender is mounted to the swingarm and sits close to the tyre, creating a chopped, custom-bike look, complemented by a slash-cut exhaust. The front fender is similar in shape to the Classic 350’s but gets a sharper, pointier tip.

Colours and Visual Details

The colour palette has been chosen to match the retro, beach-cruiser theme:

  • Trip Teal
  • Rave Red
  • Purple Haze
  • Shack Black

Trip Teal and Rave Red lean towards classic, laid-back looks, while Purple Haze and Shack Black provide a bolder presence. All variants except Trip Teal feature matte-black exhausts, while Trip Teal stands out with a shiny silver exhaust.

The bike retains the signature teardrop 13-litre fuel tank from the Classic 350, and the familiar Royal Enfield casquette headlamp unit returns here with a modern twist: it now gets full LED lighting along with LED turn indicators, with no halogen lamps used.

A USB-C charging port is tucked under the left clutch lever, allowing riders to charge a phone or device on the go.

Wheels, Tyres and Suspension Changes

One of the most visually striking elements is the wheel and tyre setup. The Goan Classic 350 uses cross-spoke wheels with white-walled tubeless tyres, a first for Royal Enfield’s 350 lineup and a strong nod to period-correct styling.

At the rear, the bike runs a 16-inch wheel with a 130-section tyre, compared with the Classic 350’s larger 18-inch rear. The wheelbase is extended to 1400 mm, 10 mm longer than the Classic, helping stability for relaxed cruising.

Suspension travel at the back has been improved: the Goan uses twin-tube emulsion rear shock absorbers with 105.3 mm of rear travel, up from 90 mm on the Classic 350. This should benefit comfort, especially over uneven roads.

Engine and Performance

Underneath the new bodywork is the proven J-series 349cc air/oil-cooled single-cylinder engine already familiar from the Classic 350 and Meteor 350. Output remains the same at 20.48 PS at 6,100 rpm and 27 Nm of torque at 4,000 rpm, paired with a 5-speed gearbox.

The engine tune continues to prioritise smooth, steady performance and strong low- to mid-range pull rather than outright speed. This character suits the Goan Classic 350’s relaxed, bobber-style riding focus, whether you are commuting in the city or cruising at moderate speeds on the highway.

Key Mechanical Upgrades Over the Classic 350

Although the engine figures match the Classic 350, the Goan Classic 350 introduces several mechanical upgrades and convenience features that help justify its higher positioning:

  • Assisted slipper clutch as standard — this system reduces clutch lever effort, smoothens downshifts and improves control, especially under hard engine braking. The Classic 350 currently does not offer this feature.
  • Fully adjustable brake and clutch levers — riders can fine-tune reach to suit different hand sizes and preferences, reducing fatigue on longer rides.
  • Revised chassis and suspension geometry with a focus on bobber ergonomics and enhanced rear suspension travel.

Kerb weight is 197 kg, only about 2 kg higher than the Classic 350, despite the additional hardware and styling changes, indicating that the extra mass comes mainly from structural and suspension tweaks rather than bulk additions.

Braking hardware remains familiar, with disc brakes front and rear and dual-channel ABS, aligned with what Nepal buyers already know from other 350cc Royal Enfields.

Features and Instruments

The Goan Classic 350 blends retro design with modern equipment.

  • Instrument cluster: a large analogue speedometer paired with a semi-digital LCD screen. The display includes an ECO indicator (a fuel-efficiency guide, not a riding mode).
  • Tripper navigation pod: supports Bluetooth-based turn-by-turn navigation when connected to a smartphone, helping riders follow routes without relying solely on the phone screen.
  • Charging: the aforementioned USB-C port for on-the-go device charging.

Accessories and Customisation

Royal Enfield is offering an extensive accessory catalogue for the Goan Classic 350, allowing owners to tailor the bike’s look and touring ability. Official accessories include:

  • Engine guard
  • Touring handlebars
  • Brown handlebar grips
  • Brown custom rider’s seat
  • Black sump guard
  • Footpegs
  • Bar-end mirrors and mirror mounts

These options mean buyers can push the bike further towards a custom bobber look or a practical long-distance cruiser, depending on how they configure it.

Warranty and Assembly

Like other Royal Enfield models in Nepal, the Goan Classic 350 is assembled locally from CKD kits, which helps keep pricing competitive in the 350cc class.

Buyers receive a 3-year / 30,000 km warranty on the motorcycle, while the battery is covered separately for 1 year / 10,000 km.

With its combination of distinctive bobber styling, familiar 349cc engine and a higher feature set than the Classic 350, the Goan Classic 350 targets riders who want a more individual, laid-back 350cc Royal Enfield without jumping to the pricier Scram range.
