
BYD has put the updated **Atto 1 on sale in Nepal with a 360-degree camera and foldable ORVMs**. The rest of the package stays unchanged. It was shown at the NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo 2026.
Where it sits in BYD’s Nepal line-up
It is the most affordable BYD EV currently listed in Nepal. It sits below the Dolphin at Rs 41.15 lakh–Rs 48.99 lakh, the Atto 2 EV at Rs 48.99 lakh, the Atto 3 at Rs 52.99 lakh–Rs 67.80 lakh, the M6 at Rs 55 lakh–Rs 58.90 lakh, and the Sealion 7 at Rs 79.85 lakh.
The Atto 1 comes in two variants: Dynamic at Rs 29.75 lakh and Premium at Rs 33.80 lakh. The Dynamic uses a 30.08 kWh battery with a 230 km range. The Premium gets a 38.88 kWh battery and a 300 km range.
Both variants use a 45 kW electric motor and support AC and DC charging. The hatchback measures 3,780 mm in length, 1,715 mm in width, 1,580 mm in height, and has a 2,500 mm wheelbase.
Inside, the Atto 1 gets a 10.1-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, along with a 7-inch digital instrument cluster. The exterior keeps its minimalist EV design. The new camera system makes parking easier.
