The 18th NADA Auto Show is set to captivate automotive enthusiasts from 25–30 August 2026 (Bhadra 9–14, 2083) at Bhrikutimandap Exhibition Hall, Kathmandu. Celebrating NADA's 50th anniversary, the event promises to be grander than ever, with over 200 stalls showcasing a diverse range of vehicles, from two-wheelers to large commercial vehicles, along with essential auto components.

Stalls were allocated by lucky draw in early July, featuring 19 passenger-vehicle brands, 10 two-wheeler brands, and 17 light-commercial-vehicle brands, plus 76 stalls for 45 auto-component companies. This makes NADA the largest platform for light-commercial vehicles, a key attraction for fleet operators and business buyers.

Which brands are here, and which are not

On four wheels: Suzuki, Skoda, Deepal, Nammi (Dongfeng), Avatr, GAC Aion, Xpeng, Dongfeng/Dyun, Riddara, Geely, Tata, BYD, and MG. On two wheels, Yamaha and Hero are exclusive to NADA, while Royal Enfield is expected at both NADA and NAIMA.

The show will feature major brands like Tata, which plans to launch the Sierra EV, a highly anticipated model following its facelifted Punch EV and Tiago EV debuts at NAIMA. BYD will showcase its Atto series, while SPG Automobiles will present Chery, Omoda, and iCar EVs. Jagadamba Motors will display Proton, and Paramount Motors will feature MG and Wuling.

Confirmed new brand: Deepal Nevo Q05

Nevo is Changan's second EV brand in Nepal after Deepal, and will be sold through MAW Vriddhi. The Nevo Q05 is expected to be the most affordable in the Deepal lineup, with a 120 kW motor and a 51.9 kWh LFP battery. It is positioned against the BYD Atto 3, which sells at Rs 56.90–67.80 lakh.

Suzuki e Vitara — the Japanese answer

Suzuki's first EV, the e Vitara, is already priced at Rs 48.99 lakh to Rs 59.49 lakh. It features two battery options and is developed with Toyota at Suzuki's India plant.

Tata: not on NADA's brand list, and one big maybe

While Tata's Punch EV and Tiago EV were launched at NAIMA, the Sierra EV is expected to debut at NADA. However, Sipradi has not confirmed this, and any price is speculative.

Light commercial vehicles — NADA's real advantage

With 17 LCV stalls, NADA is the go-to event for commercial vehicle buyers. Maxus is preparing a more affordable eTerron 9 variant, and Riddara will display its electric pickups.

Two-wheelers

Yamaha XSR155 and Yatri P2 are the highlights in the two-wheeler segment. The XSR155 is priced between Rs 5.29–5.60 lakh, while Yatri P2, Nepal's first domestically designed electric scooter, is set to debut.

NADA is the fleet and finance show; NAIMA is the launch show. NADA offers a comprehensive view of the automotive trade, making it ideal for those comparing EMI offers or specifying pickups for business needs.
