Buying a Bajaj motorcycle in Nepal now needs less cash each month, after HH Bajaj announced a new long-tenure finance plan with Hulas Finserv Hire Purchase Ltd.

Longer loan tenure, lower interest rate

According to the announcement, Bajaj buyers can now choose a repayment period of up to 5 years (60 months), instead of the usual 2–3 year loan options that were common for two-wheelers earlier.

The scheme also cuts the interest rate on Bajaj bike loans to 8.99% per annum, from 9.99% in earlier Bajaj finance programmes.

That means smaller monthly EMIs because of the longer tenure and lower rate. It should ease budgeting for first-time buyers and people on fixed salaries.

Applicable models and approximate price range

HH Bajaj says the new plan covers the full Bajaj motorcycle portfolio:

  • Platina 100 ES – entry commuter model; Bajaj bike prices in Nepal currently start at around Rs 1.81 lakh for this variant, according to recent market listings.
  • Dominar 400 – flagship touring bike; Bajaj prices go up to about Rs 5.69 lakh for this model in Nepal.
  • Other covered models include Pulsar 125, Pulsar N125, Pulsar 150, Pulsar N150, Pulsar N160, Pulsar 220F, Pulsar NS200, Pulsar N250 and Pulsar NS400Z, according to the scheme announcement.

Exact on-road prices and down-payment amounts will vary by showroom and city. Buyers should confirm the latest figures before signing the finance agreement.

Example EMIs under the new plan

HH Bajaj has shared sample EMIs to show the impact of the changes:

  • Platina 100 ES EMI: now Rs 2,124 per month over the longer tenure, compared with Rs 3,255 per month under the previous plan.
  • Dominar 400 EMI: now Rs 5,370 per month, down from Rs 8,227 per month earlier.

For the Platina, the company estimates a monthly saving of around Rs 1,131, which is roughly Rs 71 per day. Similar EMI reductions apply to the Pulsar range and other Bajaj bikes included in the offer.

Not a limited-time promo

HH Bajaj has clarified that this is not a short-term festival campaign. The longer-tenure, lower-interest structure is being positioned as a regular finance option to reduce EMI pressure for Bajaj customers.

The new facility is available through Hulas Finserv Hire Purchase Ltd. at Bajaj showrooms across Nepal. Interested buyers should:

  • Check current bike prices and any processing/insurance charges.
  • Confirm required down payment, total loan amount and tenure.
  • Review the final EMI schedule and total interest cost before committing.

For many urban and semi-urban riders who use a motorcycle for daily commuting, spreading payments over 60 months at 8.99% could make Bajaj bikes more accessible without sharply increasing monthly expenses.
