Bajaj bikes get lower EMI in Nepal under 5-year finance plan

Bajaj has introduced a new financing option in Nepal that extends repayment to 60 months and cuts the interest rate to 8.99%. The company says this will reduce monthly EMIs across its motorcycle range, including the Platina 100 ES and Dominar 400.

Bajaj motorcycles in Nepal now come with a longer repayment period of up to 5 years and a lower interest rate of 8.99%, under the company’s new finance scheme.

What changed

The scheme, launched with Hulas Finserv Hire Purchase Limited, replaces the earlier 3-year maximum tenure with a 60-month loan option. Bajaj says the move is aimed at riders who prefer smaller EMIs over a short, heavier repayment plan.

This financing offer covers the Bajaj motorcycle lineup at HH Bajaj showrooms in Nepal, according to the announcement.

EMI impact on popular models

  • **Platina 100 ES: monthly EMI has gone from about Rs 3,255 to Rs 2,124, a difference of roughly Rs 1,131** per month.
  • **Dominar 400: monthly EMI has come down from about Rs 8,227 to Rs 5,370, cutting around Rs 2,857** each month.

The company says similar EMI cuts apply to other Bajaj models as well, including the **Pulsar 125, Pulsar N125, Pulsar 150, Pulsar N150, Pulsar N160, Pulsar 220F, Pulsar NS200, Pulsar N250, and NS400Z**.

What this means for buyers

This change is likely to matter most for first-time buyers, young salaried customers, and riders who want a lower monthly outgo. A longer loan period eases EMI pressure. Buyers will usually stay on the loan for a longer time.

According to the announcement, the plan is meant to widen access to Bajaj bikes by making them easier to finance through more manageable installments.
