Great Wall Motor (GWM) has teased two new variants of the Ora 5 electric crossover – Sport and GT for buyers who want a sharper, more dynamic look while keeping the familiar technical package.
What’s new in Ora 5 Sport
According to the teaser, the Ora 5 Sport sticks to the same basic body shape but gets a set of visual upgrades aimed at giving it a more premium, stylish feel.

Ora 5 GT: more aggressive aero kit
The Ora 5 GT is shown with a more aggressive, track‑inspired body kit.

No major mechanical changes
GWM has indicated that while the design and exterior details are updated, the core hardware remains largely unchanged in these new variants.
In Nepal, the current Ora 5 is sold with a 58.3 kWh LFP battery and a 100 kW front motor, with a claimed range of up to around 520 km (NEDC) and about 435 km on WLTP, depending on test cycle and conditions (as per distributor and media reports). The car is available in two trims, with introductory prices starting at around Rs 46.99 lakh for the Mid variant and Rs 51.99 lakh for the High/Top variant, according to GWM’s official communications and local distributors.
In China, the Ora 5 is also offered with a smaller 45.3 kWh battery option and a higher‑output 150 kW motor on certain variants, but these specifications have not been announced for the Nepali market.
