Prices and positioning
According to recent dealership information, the MG S5 Luxury is priced at around Rs 49.99 lakh, while the GWM Ora 5 High sits near Rs 51.99 lakh. The Ora 5 also has a lower mid variant around Rs 46.99 lakh, but for a fair comparison on features and performance, most buyers cross-shop the top Ora 5 High against the S5 Luxury.
Both are five-seat electric SUVs aimed at urban families who also travel on highways and hills, and both come loaded with modern equipment.
