GWM has **launched the Ora 5 EV in Nepal through VG Impex**, giving local buyers a new compact crossover option with retro-inspired styling and modern EV hardware.
Price in Nepal
- Mid variant: Rs 46.99 lakh - High variant: Rs 51.99 lakh
These are introductory prices for a limited time and limited allocation. After the offer ends, the price is expected to rise.
Key specs
- 100 kW electric motor - 58.3 kWh LFP battery - 435 km WLTP range - 8-year or 150,000 km warranty for the high-voltage battery, drive motor, and controller - 4-year or 150,000 km vehicle warranty
Both variants share the same powertrain and battery. The main difference is equipment level.
The High variant adds features such as a full ADAS suite, fixed panoramic glass roof with sunshade, wireless charging, electric tailgate, and a spare wheel. The Mid variant lacks these items and comes with a tyre repair kit instead.
What it brings
The Ora 5 is larger than the Ora 3 and moves closer to a true urban crossover shape. It uses GWM’s Global Modular Platform and rides on 18-inch alloy wheels with 225/60 R18 tyres.
For Nepal, one notable detail is the 200 mm ground clearance, which is higher than the version sold in many other markets and should suit rougher roads better.
