Wuling Ekison EV Launches in Nepal with Competitive Pricing

Wuling has officially launched the Ekison EV in Nepal, marking its debut at the NAIMA Mobility Expo 2026. The seven-seat electric SUV is now available for purchase, with Paramount Motors, the authorized distributor of Wuling in Nepal, spearheading the sales.

What buyers should know

Wuling is positioning the Ekison EV as a full-size family EV. It measures 4,745 mm in length, 1,850 mm in width, and 1,755 mm in height, with a 2,810 mm wheelbase. This footprint provides noticeably more cabin room than many compact EVs now sold in Nepal, especially for buyers who need three-row seating.

Power comes from a 69.2 kWh LFP battery paired with a 150 kW electric motor that produces 310 Nm of torque. While Wuling has not yet shared the Nepal-specific driving range or charging figures, the vehicle's specifications suggest a robust performance.

Features and equipment

Inside, the Ekison EV offers a practical premium setup with ventilated front seats, a panoramic sunroof, an LCD instrument cluster, and a 12.8-inch infotainment screen. The driver’s seat has six-way power adjustment and a minimalist dashboard design.

For safety, the SUV includes Level 2 ADAS, multiple airbags, an electronic parking brake, auto hold, adaptive cruise control, traffic warning functions, and a 360-degree camera. Other convenience features listed for the model include a six-speaker audio system, 50W wireless charging, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and voice control.

Pricing and offers

The Wuling Ekison EV is priced at Rs 5.799 million. However, under the NAIMA Expo offer, customers receive a Rs 200,000 discount, bringing the effective price down to Rs 5.599 million. This competitive pricing, combined with its features, positions the Ekison EV as an attractive option for families seeking a spacious electric SUV.

What this means for Nepal buyers

The Ekison EV is clearly aimed at buyers who want a seven-seat electric SUV with strong cabin space and a long equipment list. If Wuling and Paramount Motors maintain competitive pricing and offer a solid warranty package, it could become a relevant option for families comparing larger EV SUVs in Nepal.

The final verdict will depend on the official Nepal price, warranty package, and range figures, which have not yet been confirmed in the available announcement.
