Wuling Ekison EV set for Nepal debut at NAIMA Expo

Wuling has brought the Ekison EV to Nepal, with the seven-seat electric SUV set for its official launch at the NAIMA Mobility Expo starting August 11, according to the announcement.

What buyers should know

Wuling is positioning the Ekison EV as a full-size family EV. It measures 4,745 mm in length, 1,850 mm in width, and 1,755 mm in height, with a 2,810 mm wheelbase.

That footprint gives it noticeably more cabin room than many compact EVs now sold in Nepal, especially for buyers who need three-row seating.

Power comes from a 69.2 kWh LFP battery paired with a 150 kW electric motor that produces 310 Nm of torque. Wuling has not yet shared the Nepal-specific driving range or charging figures in the information available so far.

Features and equipment

Inside, the Ekison EV gets a practical premium setup with ventilated front seats, a panoramic sunroof, an LCD instrument cluster, and a 12.8-inch infotainment screen. The driver’s seat has six-way power adjustment.

For safety, the SUV includes Level 2 ADAS, multiple airbags, an electronic parking brake, auto hold, adaptive cruise control, traffic warning functions, and a 360-degree camera.

Other convenience features listed for the model include a six-speaker audio system, 50W wireless charging, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and voice control.

What this means for Nepal buyers

The Ekison EV is clearly aimed at buyers who want a seven-seat electric SUV with strong cabin space and a long equipment list.

If Wuling and Paramount Motors announce a competitive price at NAIMA, it could become a relevant option for families comparing larger EV SUVs in Nepal.

The final verdict will depend on the official Nepal price, warranty package, and range figures, which have not yet been confirmed in the available announcement.
