Wuling has launched the fifth-generation Mini EV in Nepal through Paramount Motors at a starting price of Rs 19.99 lakh. This four-door electric city car is showcased at the **NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo 2026, offering a special NAIMA price for the Standard Range variant, reduced from Rs 20.99 lakh. The Long Range variant is priced at Rs 21.99 lakh**, down from its regular price of Rs 22.99 lakh.
For Nepal buyers, the Mini EV sits below the Wuling Air, priced between Rs 24.99 lakh and Rs 30.99 lakh, and well below the Wuling Binguo at Rs 31.99 lakh and the Wuling Darion EV at Rs 55.99 lakh.
The model is sold in Nepal as the Wuling Mini EV. Its full name is Wuling Hongguang Mini EV. It measures 3,268 mm in length, 1,520 mm in width, and 1,575 mm in height, with a 2,190 mm wheelbase. The car uses a 30 kW three-in-one electric drive system and offers two battery choices: 16.2 kWh and 25.1 kWh. The larger pack is claimed to deliver about 301 km of CLTC range, while the smaller battery offers 205 km.
One of the key updates in this generation is the four-door, four-seat layout, making it the only four-door model in its segment and improving access to the rear seats. Despite its compact size, it offers 793 mm of front-to-rear seat spacing, 620 mm of rear headroom, and 454 mm of rear legroom. Practicality is enhanced with 50:50 split-folding rear seats, expanding luggage capacity to 838 litres. The vehicle also features a 755 mm loading height and 20 storage compartments throughout the cabin.
Charging support includes DC fast charging, allowing the car to charge from 30 to 80 percent in 35 minutes. The car also supports mobile app connectivity and features a 10.1-inch central control screen with smart AC and smartphone-vehicle connectivity.
Safety equipment includes an electric parking brake, dual airbags, electronic stability control, hill-hold control, traction control, hydraulic brake assist, and auto hold. It also gets a high-definition reversing camera, rear parking sensors, disc brakes on all four wheels, and a three-level regenerative braking system with Comfort, Standard, and Strong modes.
The Mini EV is described as a "four-door playful commuter car" with unique design elements like the "Joyful Round Star-Ring" LED front and rear headlights, and a "Sunflower Dimple" front fascia decor. It also features a "Four-Leaf Clover" wheel cover and an exclusive "Mini EV" nameplate.
