Paramount Motors, the authorised distributor for Wuling in Nepal, has confirmed that the new Wuling Mini EV will be introduced to the Nepali market at the NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo 2026.
According to the company's announcement, the compact electric car will be displayed at the expo scheduled at Bhrikutimandap, Kathmandu, from August 11 to 16, 2026. The Mini EV is part of Wuling's global small EV lineup and is aimed at urban buyers looking for an affordable, easy-to-drive electric car for daily use.
Four doors in a tiny footprint
The latest-generation Wuling Mini EV moves away from the earlier three-door layout and now offers four doors and four seats, giving it more practical access to the rear seats. This makes it one of the very few four-door models in the ultra-compact EV segment, which can be useful for families or ride-sharing in dense city areas.
Despite its small exterior size, Wuling has focused on interior space. The new model is designed with improved front-to-rear seat spacing, more headroom and better legroom for rear passengers compared to the previous generation, making short city trips more comfortable for all occupants.
Cabin and cargo practicality
The Mini EV's cabin follows a simple, functional design with space-efficient seating and storage solutions suited for crowded city use. Rear seats can be folded down to expand the luggage area, and the low loading height is intended to make it easier to place heavier or bulkier items in the back.
According to international reviews and official information, the latest Mini EV generation offers multiple battery options abroad, with claimed driving ranges of up to around 300 km on the CLTC test cycle. Exact battery capacity, motor output and certified range figures for the Nepali-spec car have not yet been formally disclosed by Paramount Motors.
Expected price and positioning
As of now, the company has not announced an official price for the Wuling Mini EV in Nepal. However, based on the positioning of Wuling's other small EVs in the market and estimates published by local auto portals, the Mini EV is likely to be priced in the Rs 14–17 lakh range once duties and variant choices are finalised. This figure should be treated as an indication only until Paramount Motors reveals the confirmed pricing.
With the Mini EV, Wuling and Paramount Motors are targeting city-focused EV buyers who prioritise easy parking, low running costs and simple charging over high performance or long-distance capability. Interested customers will be able to see the car in person and get detailed specifications at the NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo 2026, where bookings and launch timelines for the Nepali market are expected to be clarified.
