Production of the e-Vitara takes place at the Hansalpur plant in Gujarat. This facility currently maintains an annual production capacity of 10 lakh units. The vehicle is now available in over 50 countries, including Japan, the United Kingdom, Germany, Norway, and Switzerland. Europe currently stands as the largest export market for the model.

Data from April to September 2026 shows that the e-Vitara accounted for approximately 93 percent of all electric vehicles exported from India. This performance highlights the growing international demand for electric cars manufactured within the Indian market. Maruti Suzuki continues to prioritize the expansion of its global export network as part of its long-term strategy to establish its electric vehicle lineup worldwide.
