TVS Motor has rolled out a new iQube MillionR Edition in India to celebrate one million iQube customers, adding a fresh colour, a bit more storage and extra convenience features to its popular electric scooter.
Where it sits against TVS scooters in Nepal
TVS already sells the iQube electric scooter in Nepal at Rs 2.80 lakh – Rs 4.30 lakh across six variants, from the iQube 2.2 at Rs 2.80 lakh up to the iQube S at Rs 4.30 lakh. That puts the existing iQube range in the same price band as TVS’s premium commuters and entry sport bikes such as the TVS Apache RTR 180 at Rs 2.80 lakh, TVS Raider at Rs 2.80 lakh – Rs 3.16 lakh, and the TVS Apache RTR 160 2V at Rs 2.54 lakh – Rs 3.54 lakh. For buyers here, iQube is already positioned as an alternative to these petrol models rather than a budget scooter.
What’s new in the MillionR Edition
The MillionR Edition is based on the iQube 3.5 kWh variant and keeps the same core hardware: 3.5 kWh battery, IDC range of 145 km, top speed of 82 km/h, and a charging time of about 4 hours 30 minutes from 0–80%. It continues to use a 12.7 cm TFT display with connected features, with more than 118 connected functions available.
The main changes are cosmetic and practical:
- An exclusive Aurora Green dual‑tone colour inspired by the Northern Lights, with new graphics, premium seat upholstery and MillionR badging.
- A new front utility compartment with an integrated USB Type‑C charging port, taking total storage from 32 litres to 35.5 litres.
Mechanical parts — motor, battery and performance — are unchanged, so the added cost in India primarily pays for the styling, the Type‑C port and the extra 3.5 litres of storage.
India launch, Nepal angle
In India, the iQube MillionR Edition has been introduced as a regular, buyable variant based on the 3.5 kWh scooter, marking the milestone of one million iQube customers and reinforcing iQube’s position as one of the country’s bestselling electric scooters.
For Nepali buyers, the relevance is indirect but important:
- Nepal already gets multiple iQube trims, so the MillionR Edition shows how TVS is evolving the platform with added storage and convenience.
- If and when this variant is brought here, it would logically sit near the current iQube S 3.5 at Rs 3.40 lakh and iQube S at Rs 4.30 lakh, likely as a style‑focused option rather than a cheaper entry model.
However, no Nepal launch date, price or distributor announcement for the iQube MillionR Edition has been made yet. For now, it remains an India‑market special that Nepali EV buyers can only watch from across the border.
What to watch for in Nepal
Given that TVS already retails several iQube variants in Nepal, the MillionR Edition is a plausible future addition. Buyers who value range and performance over styling can continue to choose from the existing iQube 2.2, 2.2 kWh, 3.0, iQube, iQube S 3.5 and iQube S at Rs 2.80 lakh – Rs 4.30 lakh, while keeping an eye out for any announcement that brings the Aurora Green, extra storage and Type‑C charging MillionR package to Nepali showrooms.
