CG Motors has put the **Riddara RD6 Econ 4WD electric pickup on sale in Nepal, at an introductory price of Rs 75.99 lakh**.

Powertrain and performance

  • The RD6 Econ uses a 280 kW electric motor with 485 Nm of peak torque, driving all four wheels.
  • Riddara claims a 0–100 kmph time of 7 seconds and a top speed of 160 kmph, giving the pickup car-like performance despite its size.
  • The pickup offers 225 mm ground clearance and a rated water-wading depth of 815 mm, aimed at rough roads, river crossings and off-road tracks.

Battery, range and charging

  • The RD6 Econ is equipped with a 73 kWh LFP (lithium iron phosphate) battery pack.
  • Claimed driving range is 390 km under the NEDC cycle; in typical Nepali use, buyers can expect around 300 km per charge, depending on load, terrain and driving style.
  • The battery supports up to 90 kW DC fast charging. With a suitable fast charger, Riddara says it can go from 30% to 80% in about 30 minutes.

Load capacity and dimensions

  • The pickup is rated to carry up to 1,235 kg of payload and tow up to 3,000 kg, targeting commercial and utility users.
  • The cargo bed measures 1,525 mm (length) x 1,450 mm (width) x 540 mm (height).
  • There is also a 70‑litre front trunk (frunk) under the bonnet for extra enclosed storage.

Interior, comfort and tech

  • Despite being a work-focused pickup, the RD6 Econ offers seating for five passengers.
  • Cabin technology includes a 14.6‑inch touchscreen infotainment system and a 10.25‑inch fully digital instrument cluster.
  • Key features include voice commands, wireless smartphone charging, dual‑zone automatic air conditioning, rear AC vents and a panoramic sunroof on the Econ trim.
  • A multifunction steering wheel and 540‑degree surround‑view camera system are also fitted to aid manoeuvring and parking.

Drive modes and safety

  • Electronic aids such as Electronic Stability Control, Traction Control, Hill Start Assist and Hill Descent Control are standard.
  • The RD6 Econ rides on 18‑inch wheels, matching its ground clearance and off‑road intent.

With this specification and Rs 75.99 lakh pricing, the Riddara RD6 Econ 4WD positions itself as one of the most accessible electric four‑wheel‑drive pickups currently available to Nepali buyers.
