Proton Nepal lets buyers ‘guess and book’ e.MAS 5 at their own price

Jagdamba Motors Pvt. Ltd., the authorised distributor of Proton vehicles in Nepal, has announced a special pre-launch offer for the upcoming Proton e.MAS 5 electric hatchback.

According to the announcement, customers can now take part in a "Guess and Book the All-New e.MAS 5 at Your Price" campaign before the EV officially goes on sale in the country.

How the campaign works

Under this scheme, interested buyers are invited to predict the official introductory price of the Proton e.MAS 5 for the Nepali market. - Participants who quote prices closest to the final launch price will get a chance to buy the vehicle at their predicted amount, subject to campaign terms and conditions. - The company says five winners from each variant will be selected based on how close their quoted price is to the eventual launch price.

To join the campaign, customers need to: - Visit the dedicated online campaign site announced by Proton Nepal. - Choose their preferred variant: e.MAS 5 Prime or e.MAS 5 Premium. - Use an interactive price slider to lock in their expected launch price within the allowed range.

Price ranges for predictions

For this campaign, Proton Nepal has set specific bands within which customers must place their price guesses: - e.MAS 5 Prime: between Rs 29.99 lakh and Rs 34.99 lakh. - e.MAS 5 Premium: between Rs 34.99 lakh and Rs 39.99 lakh.

Any quote outside these ranges will not be valid for the offer.

What we know about the e.MAS 5

The Proton e.MAS 5 is a compact electric hatchback that has already been launched in Malaysia and is planned for introduction in Nepal soon, according to multiple reports from Proton and Jagdamba Motors. The EV is expected to be offered in Prime and Premium variants locally, following the same structure as the Malaysian market.

While various Nepali outlets expect the official price to fall roughly in the Rs 30–40 lakh bracket, Proton Nepal has not yet confirmed the final sticker price or exact launch date. For now, the company is using this campaign to gauge customer expectations and build early bookings ahead of launch.

Prospective buyers who are considering an electric hatchback in this price range can use the campaign to secure an early booking. If their prediction is among the closest, they could buy the e.MAS 5 at a self-quoted price that undercuts the eventual market rate.

Customers are advised to review the detailed terms and conditions of the offer, including eligibility, timelines, and payment requirements, before locking in their predicted price and booking the vehicle.
