The Mahindra BE 7 electric SUV has been photographed while charging at a station in Bengaluru, India. These latest images provide a clear look at the production-spec design of the upcoming model.
This vehicle is expected to be positioned above the Mahindra BE 6 in the company's electric lineup. For context, the Mahindra BE 6 is currently available in Nepal with prices ranging from Rs 57 lakh to Rs 68 lakh. Other Mahindra electric models currently in the Nepali market include the XEV 9S, priced between Rs 60 lakh and Rs 86.50 lakh, and the XUV 400 EV, which is priced at Rs 52.50 lakh.
The camouflaged SUV appears to be a five-seater with proportions similar to the BE.07 concept shown in 2022. It features flush-fitting pop-out door handles, frameless doors, and large aerodynamic alloy wheels. Conventional wing mirrors have replaced the camera-based units seen on the earlier concept.

At the front, the SUV displays C-shaped LED daytime running lights that surround vertically stacked LED headlamps. The rear section uses slim LED tail lamps, matching the design language of other models built on Mahindra's INGLO platform. Inside, the cabin is expected to house a three-screen setup, including a digital instrument cluster, a central infotainment display, and a dedicated screen for the front passenger. Other interior features include an illuminated steering wheel logo, ambient lighting, and a panoramic glass roof.
Technical specifications are expected to include 59 kWh and 79 kWh battery pack options, paired with a rear-mounted electric motor. Once it reaches the market, the SUV will compete against models such as the Tata Harrier EV, VinFast VF 7, and the BYD Atto 3. The BYD Atto 3 is currently sold in Nepal in two variants, priced at Rs 62.90 lakh and Rs 78 lakh.

Mahindra has not yet confirmed a launch date or final specifications for the BE 7.
