China's new **Leapmotor B03X has quickly turned into one of the country's hottest electric cars. It now ranks as China's second best-selling vehicle** in its segment.

The B03X reportedly sold 30,652 units in August alone. That helped it cross 1 lakh units within just 135 days of its market launch on 26 March 2026. Leapmotor has now become the first Chinese EV startup to deliver over 1 lakh vehicles per month for two consecutive months (July and August).

Key specs Nepali buyers should know

- 145 kW motor, 55 kWh battery, claimed 505 km CLTC range - Fast charging from 30% to 80% in about 16 minutes - Dual high-performance chips inside, including a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295P cockpit chip - Boot space of 510 litres, expandable up to 1,605 litres with rear seats folded

The Stellantis group backs Leapmotor globally. The same group supports Maserati, Alfa Romeo and Peugeot. Leapmotor has sold over 17 lakh vehicles worldwide through more than 2,000 sales and service outlets across 45+ countries.

A Nepal launch or price has not been announced yet. The B03X offers long range, fast charging and a spacious cabin. That combination makes it worth watching if it ever reaches Nepali showrooms.
