Jetour T1 and T2 PHEV Bookings Open in Nepal with New Showroom Launch

Laxmi Motorhub has officially opened pre-bookings for the Jetour T1 plug-in hybrid SUV in Nepal. The vehicle is priced at Rs 1.4296 crore ex-showroom. Additionally, the Jetour T2 PHEV is available for booking at a starting price of Rs 1.5596 crore. Jetour has also inaugurated its new showroom in Thapathali, Kathmandu, marking a significant entry into the local SUV market.

This SUV features a plug-in hybrid system that pairs a 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine with an electric motor. The setup is designed for both urban commuting and light off-road use. It includes a 26.7 kWh LFP battery and a dedicated hybrid transmission. The vehicle measures 4,705 mm in length, 1,967 mm in width, and 1,843 mm in height, with a 2,800 mm wheelbase and 190 mm of ground clearance.

• Performance: 28-degree approach and departure angles with a 600 mm water-wading depth.
• Technology: 15.6-inch touchscreen, 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, and TOUR OS 2.0 system powered by a Snapdragon 8155 chip.
• Safety: Advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS), including lane-keeping assistance, adaptive cruise control, and a 540-degree panoramic camera.

The T1 is built with a MacPherson strut front suspension and a multi-link independent rear system. Protection for rough terrain is provided by battery guards and an aluminum underbody guard. The model has also received a German Red Dot Design Award for its exterior styling.

The Jetour T1 PHEV offers 335 hp, a 26.7 kWh battery, an electric range of 117 km, and a total range of 1,200 km. However, delivery is delayed due to trade corridor disruptions.

Jetour, a subsidiary of Chery Holding Group, brings a mix of ICE, hybrid, and new-energy SUVs to Nepal’s competitive market. Prospective buyers can now visit the official showroom in Thapathali to place their bookings.
