Hero MotoCorp has filed a design patent in India for a new dual-sport adventure motorcycle, revealing a slim and rugged machine aimed at mixed on-road and off-road use.
The patent drawings show minimal bodywork, a narrow tail section with a luggage rack, a raised front fender, compact headlamp, wide handlebars and a single-piece stepped seat. The bike is built around a tubular frame and uses a single-cylinder, air-cooled engine, but the exact engine capacity and power figures are not yet disclosed.
Hardware details include wire-spoke wheels, disc brakes at both front and rear, and a bash plate under the engine to protect components when riding over rough terrain. The long-travel suspension and overall lightweight look suggest that off-road capability has been a key focus in the design.
Hero MotoCorp has not confirmed production, launch timeline or markets for this motorcycle. A Nepal launch, pricing in Rs lakh terms and local availability have not been announced, so for now this remains a potential future option for Nepali riders rather than a confirmed model.
