GenXT Motors brings Viato Honri Boma EV to Nepal
GenXT Motors, the automotive division of Generation Next Communication, has announced its entry into Nepal’s electric vehicle market with the launch of the Viato Honri Boma EV, a compact electric hatchback from China's Honri Automobile Group. This marks an exciting development for Nepali city drivers seeking affordable and eco-friendly mobility solutions.
The Viato Honri Boma EV will make its public debut at the **NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo 2026, which begins on August 11**. This event will provide Nepali buyers the opportunity to see the car in person, explore its features, and register for a test drive.
GenXT Motors claims the Viato Honri Boma EV is powered by a 35 kW electric motor paired with a 29.9 kWh battery pack, offering a 300 km claimed range on a full charge. Charging from a standard household socket takes around 7 hours, making it convenient for daily city commuting.
The five-door, 5-seater hatchback is designed to combine compact dimensions with modern styling and smart features. It offers a spacious cabin despite its compact size, making it suitable for daily commuting, family use, and city driving. Its compact footprint is expected to make parking and maneuvering easier on Nepal’s narrow urban roads.
The company has set an introductory price of Rs 20.99 lakh (Rs 20,99,999), positioning the Viato Honri Boma EV as an affordable smart city EV option. Rakshit Bhimsaria, Director of Generation Next Motors, emphasized that the EV has been introduced to meet the growing demand for smart, safe, affordable, and environmentally friendly mobility solutions in Nepal.
