Bajaj Auto has introduced **Pulsar N160 S and Pulsar N160 SS** in India. Both models are expected to reach Nepal later.
The bikes use a 165cc, 4-valve, oil-cooled, single-cylinder engine that makes 18 bhp at 9,500 rpm and 14.4 Nm at 8,000 rpm, with a 5-speed gearbox. Bajaj says the motorcycle can do 0-60 kmph in 4.5 seconds.
Both versions get an Intelligent Throttle, Road, Rain, Sport and Off-road riding modes, and Bajaj’s crawl function for low-speed riding without constant clutch use. Hardware includes 37 mm upside-down front forks, a rear monoshock, a 300 mm front disc and a 230 mm rear disc.
The design remains familiar. The new bikes add a projector LED headlamp, gold-finish forks and new alloy wheels.
The Pulsar N160 S comes with Bluetooth, turn-by-turn navigation on an LCD display and single-channel ABS. The Pulsar N160 SS adds Wi-Fi connectivity, Google Maps, traction control, dual-channel ABS and an adjustable-lever TFT display.
India prices are Rs 1,33,511 and Rs 1,42,585. Nepal pricing has not been confirmed yet.
