Ather Energy’s next electric scooter, Konarc, has surfaced online in leaked images and spec sheets, giving buyers an early look at its design and features before the official India launch.
Design and practicality
Konarc appears more family-focused than the 450 series, with a conventional scooter silhouette, LED headlamp in the handlebar cowl, and a U-shaped LED DRL. At the back it gets an LED taillamp, a wide single-piece seat, and a silver pillion grab rail with backrest for added comfort. A flat footboard and a small front storage compartment aim to improve everyday usability.
Screen, platform and variants
The scooter is shown with a large touchscreen instrument console and is based on Ather’s EL platform. Leak reports point to six variants: four S trims (SR1, SR2, SR3, SR4) and two Q trims (QR2, QR3), positioned below the 450 range.
Battery range and charging
Depending on the battery pack, Konarc is expected to offer claimed range options of about 100 km, 125 km, 160 km and up to 200 km on a single charge. The platform is understood to support batteries from around 2 kWh to 5 kWh.
Charging hardware is expected to include a built-in 450W onboard charger, with an optional extra 450W external charger. Used together, the setup is rumoured to deliver up to 900W and target a 0–80% charge in roughly two hours.
Airwalk assist and launch status
Konarc is also likely to feature Ather’s Airwalk assist function, which uses the motor to help move the scooter while walking beside it.
An official launch date, India pricing and full technical specifications have not yet been announced, though community chatter points to an unveiling around 29 August 2026. Nepal availability and pricing remain unconfirmed, so buyers here will need to wait for a formal importer announcement.
