Royal Enfield’s Himalayan 750 is taking shape as the brand’s larger, more road-focused adventure twin. It is aimed at riders who want long-distance ability, better highway pace and the familiar upright Himalayan formula in a more premium package. For Nepal, the real question is where the final local price lands compared with established middleweight ADV rivals.
Editorial overview compiled from official specs and Nepali/Indian auto sources · as of 13 Aug 2026.
The Himalayan 750 sticks to the brand’s adventure-bike formula: tall stance, upright ergonomics, a large fuel tank, split seat and touring-friendly bodywork. Coverage of the production-intent test bike points to 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wheels, a tall windscreen, a rugged luggage-ready shape and dual-purpose tyres. That setup suggests a machine built to look at home on broken roads and on the highway. In Nepal, that kind of visual and functional toughness should appeal to buyers who want one motorcycle for daily use, weekend touring and rougher hill routes.
The Himalayan 750 is expected to use a new 750cc parallel-twin petrol engine with a 6-speed gearbox, with widely reported output estimates around the mid-50s horsepower and about 60Nm of torque. The bigger twin-cylinder layout should give it a smoother, more relaxed character than smaller single-cylinder adventure bikes, especially for two-up riding and sustained cruising. For Nepalese buyers, that points to a motorcycle that should feel more effortless on the highway than the Himalayan 450, while still keeping enough torque for uphill and loaded riding.
