Tesla Roadster reveal set to launch global teaser for Nepal on October 1

Tesla has set October 1 for a reveal of its next-generation Roadster. A teaser image with the line “Go for launch” and a 10.01 date now appears alongside a countdown on the Roadster page.

That move has revived talk about the car’s long-discussed SpaceX-developed cold-gas thrusters and a brief lift-off demo. Tesla has not confirmed the event format, and the final production timeline is still open.

Roadster was first shown in November 2017 with a quoted starting price of USD 200,000, a USD 250,000 Founders Series, a claimed 620-mile range, and 0-60 mph in less than two seconds. Production was originally planned for 2020.

For Nepal buyers, this is still a global teaser, not a local launch. Nepal pricing has not been confirmed.

Verdict: exciting, but still only a tease for now.
