Tata Motors sold 62,611 units in July 2026, up 58.42% year on year from 39,521 units a year earlier and 0.86% month on month from 62,076 units in June 2026. Punch led the lineup with 21,313 units. Nexon followed at 17,471 units, while Tiago and Tiago EV were third with 7,429 units.
In Nepal, the Nexon petrol is on sale at Rs 34.99 lakh to Rs 42.99 lakh. That puts it above the Tiago at Rs 34.99 lakh and below the Punch EV at Rs 37.99 lakh to Rs 39.99 lakh and Punch petrol at Rs 39.99 lakh. The Nexon remains Tata’s most relevant high-volume SUV for Nepali buyers who want a compact SUV without moving into the much pricier Safari, which is listed at Rs 121 lakh to Rs 131 lakh.
Punch remained Tata’s top seller with 21,313 units, nearly doubling its July 2025 volume of 10,785 units. It accounted for 34.04% of Tata’s monthly car sales. In Nepal, the petrol Punch is priced at Rs 39.99 lakh, so its entry point sits clearly above the Tiago and in the same rough band as the Punch EV.

Nexon stayed Tata’s second-best seller with 17,471 units, up 36.23% year on year but down 864 units from June. That matters in Nepal because the model is already one of Tata’s more accessible SUVs here. Its Rs 34.99 lakh to Rs 42.99 lakh range puts it in a segment where buyers often compare it directly with smaller hatchbacks and EVs rather than larger premium SUVs.
Other Tata models in the July tally were Sierra at 6,327 units, Harrier at 3,301 units, Altroz at 2,862 units, Curvv at 1,697 units, Safari at 1,453 units, and Tigor at 758 units. The Sierra figure includes both ICE and EV deliveries in India. Nepal pricing and launch timing have not been confirmed, so it remains a source-market development rather than a Nepal-ready model.
