Tata has expanded the Curvv lineup in India with Series X petrol and diesel variants, starting at Rs 9.99 lakh and adding richer equipment across the range. The update matters for Nepali buyers mainly as a price and feature benchmark, because the Curvv already exists in Nepal only as the **Curvv EV**, not the petrol or diesel versions.

In Nepal, Tata’s closest current alternatives sit much lower in the brand’s local EV and compact SUV lineup: **Tata Tigor EV starts at Rs 29.99 lakh, Punch EV at Rs 33.99 lakh, Nexon EV at Rs 38.99 lakh, and the Curvv EV is positioned far above them at Rs 53.99 lakh to Rs 65.99 lakh. That means the newly announced India-market Curvv Series X petrol and diesel range is not a direct Nepal showroom offering today, and there is no confirmed Nepal launch** for these ICE variants.

The new India lineup begins with Smart X at Rs 9.99 lakh, using the 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine and manual gearbox. It comes with six airbags, ESP, ABS with EBD, R-Comfort seats with passive ventilation, 17-inch aero-style wheels, flush door handles, multiple drive modes, a rear armrest and a digital instrument cluster.

Above it, Pure X is priced at Rs 10.99 lakh and adds a 10.25-inch Harman infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, six speakers, automatic climate control, cruise control, push-button start, auto-folding ORVMs and rear AC vents. Pure X+ costs Rs 11.79 lakh, while a DARK version of Pure X+ is listed at Rs 11.99 lakh.

Creative X+ is priced from Rs 12.91 lakh and adds a voice-assisted panoramic sunroof, 18-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels and a 360-degree 3D surround-view camera with blind-view monitor. Inside, it gets twin 10.25-inch screens, navigation on the digital cockpit, TPMS, automatic headlamps, rain-sensing wipers, reclining rear seats and an illuminated cooled glovebox.

At the top, Accomplished X and Accomplished X+ bring Level 2 ADAS, ventilated front seats, ambient lighting, a six-way powered driver’s seat and, on Accomplished X+, a gesture-controlled powered tailgate. These variants also add a 12.3-inch Harman infotainment system, nine-speaker JBL audio, dual-zone climate control, an air purifier, wireless charging, iRA connected technology, Alexa integration and an electronic parking brake with Auto Hold.

For Nepali buyers, the practical takeaway is simple: the Curvv remains a premium Tata EV in Nepal, while the new India-market Series X petrol and diesel trims mainly sharpen the value story in a market that Nepal does not yet access for this model. If Tata or its Nepal distributor later brings the ICE Curvv here, it would likely slot between mainstream compact SUVs and the far pricier Curvv EV, but that has not been announced.
