The daily quota system for driving licence services has returned at the Transport Management Office, Radhe Radhe, as technical problems continue in the Department of Transport Management’s new online system.
The office will conduct written tests for 50 applicants a day starting Tuesday. It has already received more than 3,200 applications, and office staff say the limit is needed because the system is not fully working yet.
Applications for new licences and category additions are being checked in sequence at the office. Once verification is completed, applicants can pay revenue online and choose written and practical test dates from August 18.
The office says the quota will be increased gradually and removed only when the online licensing system becomes fully operational.
