Jagdamba Motors, the sole authorised distributor for Proton Cars in Nepal, has introduced the eMAS 5 in two trims:
- Proton eMAS 5 Prime: Rs 32.99 lakh (standard price)
- Proton eMAS 5 Premium: Rs 36.99 lakh (standard price)

The eMAS 5 uses CATL LFP (lithium iron phosphate) batteries and a rear-mounted motor driving the rear wheels. The specifications for Nepal are as follows:

Proton says the car supports both AC and DC charging. DC fast charging can take the battery from 30% to 80% in around 21 minutes, while a typical home AC wallbox (around 6.6 kW) needs several hours for a full charge. These times may vary slightly depending on local chargers and conditions.
