Proton’s **e.MAS 5 is among the main EVs on display at the NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo 2026** in Kathmandu. Visitor interest has already started building after its Nepal debut.

Jagadamba Motors, Proton’s authorized distributor in Nepal, is showing the hatchback in Prime and Premium trims at Rs 29.84 lakh and Rs 34.84 lakh.

It sits **below the Proton e.MAS 7. That model is priced in Nepal at Rs 46.78 lakh to Rs 67.78 lakh**, so the e.MAS 5 is the more accessible Proton EV for buyers looking at the brand’s lineup here.

Proton says the e.MAS 5 uses a rear-wheel-drive layout for balanced handling. It is suited to city roads, highways and hill routes.

The car comes with a 70-litre front trunk, 28-litre under-seat storage, 20-litre storage space below the center console, a 375-litre boot, rear multi-link independent suspension, a 14.6-inch Full HD display, G-Trac traction control, a 4.95-metre turning radius, a 65-degree door opening angle and vehicle-to-load (V2L) support.
