Weekend crowd surge

NAIMA has made special preparations for Saturday and Sunday at the ongoing **NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo 2026 in Bhrikutimandap** after visitor turnout rose beyond expectations.

The organiser had estimated around 25,000 daily visitors and about 1.5 lakh total visitors for the full event. By the fourth day, that estimate was already under pressure from the steady flow of crowds.

Parking becomes the main concern

NAIMA’s weekend plan is centered on parking management. Open spaces around Bhrikutimandap and both floors of the Nepal Police Club building were already full in the first four days.

Visitors have been arriving before the venue opens at 11 am. Queues start forming from around 10 am.

Strong buying interest

The expo has already drawn 1,08,000+ visitors. Daily footfall was reported at 29,000, 26,000, 22,000, and 31,000+ on the first four days.

More than 55 brands are on display, and 52 new models have been unveiled so far. Visitors are paying close attention to battery capacity, motor, range, after-sales service, battery warranty, and resale value.

Companies are also pushing offers such as discounts, one year of insurance, one year of road tax, free servicing, and low-interest loans.
