Kia has opened bookings for the Syros EV in Nepal, and Continental Trading Enterprises announced the model at the NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo 2026. The SUV is listed at an official price of Rs 3.79 lakh. The first 100 customers can buy it for Rs 3.59 lakh under the NAIMA offer.
In Kia’s Nepal lineup, the Syros EV sits below the **Kia Sonet range, which is priced from Rs 35.90 lakh to Rs 63.90 lakh. Kia also sells the Carens from Rs 48.90 lakh, the Seltos from Rs 49.90 lakh, the Sportage from Rs 65.90 lakh, and the Niro at Rs 69.90 lakh**.
For Nepal, the Syros EV arrives with the 42 kWh battery pack. Kia says this version offers a claimed range of up to 443 km on a full charge. It uses an electric motor rated at 171 PS.
The model supports 100 kW DC fast charging. Kia claims a 10% to 80% charging time of about 39 minutes. It also has 197 mm ground clearance and uses Kia’s K1 platform.
Design changes over the petrol version include a closed front grille, a revised bumper, the charging flap on the front-left side, vertically oriented Ice Cube LED headlamps, 17-inch dual-tone alloy wheels, and flush-type door handles. At the rear, it gets EV badging, vertical L-shaped LED tail lamps, a triangular windshield element, and a black bumper.
Inside, the main highlight is a 30-inch triple-screen setup. It is made up of a 12.3-inch infotainment screen, a 12.3-inch digital cluster, and a 5-inch climate-control display. Other features include wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a column-mounted shift-by-wire selector, paddle shifters for regenerative braking, rear AC vents, an electronic parking brake with auto hold, rear sunshade curtains, a covered frunk, and disc brakes on all four wheels.
Depending on the variant, the Syros EV can also get a panoramic sunroof, Harman Kardon eight-speaker audio, ventilated front and rear seats, a powered driver’s seat, Kia Connect 2.0 with more than 95 connected features, OTA updates, wireless phone charging, a smart dashcam, a 360-degree camera, and V2L support.
Safety equipment includes up to six airbags, electronic stability control, hill-start assist control, tire pressure monitoring, rear parking sensors, a virtual engine sound system, a 360-degree camera, blind-view monitor, side parking sensors, and, on selected variants, a Level 2 ADAS package with 16 functions.
