The Hyundai IONIQ 3 has been selected as one of seven finalists for the European Car of the Year 2027 award. This recognition follows the vehicle's recent market introduction in Europe, where it is positioned as a compact electric hatchback.
Designed in Europe and manufactured at Hyundai’s İzmit plant in Türkiye, the IONIQ 3 is built specifically to address the requirements of European drivers. The model features a WLTP-rated range of up to 497 km in its long-range configuration. It is currently available in European markets with a starting price below €30,000.
As of November 1, 2026, there has been no announcement regarding an official launch, pricing, or importer for the IONIQ 3 in Nepal. The winner of the European Car of the Year award will be announced on January 8, 2027, at the Brussels Motor Show.
