Denza, the premium automotive brand under BYD, has opened reservations for its all-new N8 electric SUV in China. This development comes ahead of the vehicle's official market launch scheduled for November 2026.

Interior and Design

The N8 features a five-seat layout. The cabin includes a 1.1-metre panoramic head-up display and a 30-inch central touchscreen. Designers have used wood trim and concealed air-conditioning vents to create a premium feel. A floating centre console houses a crystal-style drive selector, while door-mounted panels integrate speakers and seat-adjustment controls.

Buyers can choose from four interior color themes:

  • Moon over Empty Mountain: A mix of light beige and deep blue.
  • Morning Mist Beige: An all-beige finish.
  • Dawn Red: Warm reddish upholstery.
  • Evening Plain Brown: A dark brown finish.

Performance and Charging

The SUV measures 5,150 mm in length, 1,999 mm in width, and 1,820 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,075 mm. It will be available in rear-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive configurations. The flagship all-wheel-drive version uses the e3 drive system with three motors, producing a combined output of 890 kW, or approximately 1,193 hp.

Equipped with BYD’s second-generation Blade Battery technology, the N8 offers two battery pack options: 105.792 kWh and 130.15 kWh. The vehicle claims a maximum driving range of 1,003 km under the CLTC cycle. High-speed charging technology allows the battery to charge from 10% to 70% in five minutes and from 10% to 97% in nine minutes.

While the brand is present in Nepal through Cimex Inc., pricing and local availability for the N8 have not been announced. The company is expected to reveal official pricing during the market launch in November.
