BYD has confirmed the official debut of its luxury electric vehicle brand, Denza, in India on November 13, 2026. The manufacturer plans to reveal its product lineup and retail strategy for the region during this event.
Industry expectations point to the Denza D9 luxury MPV as a key model for the brand's entry. This vehicle is designed to compete in the premium people-mover segment, featuring a spacious cabin and high-end amenities. The Z9 GT shooting brake is also anticipated to be part of the initial presentation.
While official pricing for the Indian market remains unconfirmed, reports suggest the D9 may be positioned as a premium offering. The brand is expected to operate as a luxury division, sitting above the existing BYD vehicle range currently available in the region.
This move marks a significant expansion for the manufacturer's regional footprint. Denza has already established a presence in other markets, including Nepal, prior to this upcoming Indian debut.
