Cimex Inc. Pvt. Ltd., the authorized distributor of BYD vehicles in Nepal, has introduced a new Essential variant of the BYD Atto 2 at Rs 45.99 lakh. The existing Premium variant continues at Rs 48.99 lakh.
In BYD’s Nepal lineup, the Atto 2 now sits **above the BYD Dolphin at Rs 41.15 lakh–Rs 48.99 lakh and below the BYD Atto 3 at Rs 52.99 lakh–Rs 67.80 lakh**. That places it as a mid-point option for buyers looking for a compact EV crossover without moving up to the larger Atto 3.

The Atto 2 is built on BYD’s e-Platform 3.0 with Cell-to-Body (CTB) technology. It measures 4,310 mm in length, 1,830 mm in width and 1,675 mm in height, with a 2,620 mm wheelbase and 200 mm ground clearance.

It rides on 17-inch alloy wheels and offers luggage space of 380 litres to 1,320 litres, depending on rear-seat configuration. The new Essential trim keeps the compact SUV format aimed at urban use while giving Nepali buyers a lower entry price than the Premium variant.
