BMW Motorrad has filed a design patent for the Vision CE electric scooter in India. This filing indicates the manufacturer is evaluating the market for the concept, but it does not confirm any production or launch plans.
First shown at IAA Mobility 2025, the Vision CE focuses on urban mobility. It features a tubular steel safety cage and a four-point seatbelt. These elements draw inspiration from the BMW C1 scooter from 25 years ago. The concept also includes a self-balancing system that keeps the scooter upright while stationary. This removes the need for riders to put their feet on the ground at stops.
BMW has not released technical details such as motor output, battery capacity, or riding range. The design shares a low-slung profile and long wheelbase with the CE 04. In India, the brand currently sells the CE 04 electric scooter for 1.525 million Indian rupees.
No production timeline exists for the Vision CE in any market.
