Simple Energy, the Bengaluru-based electric two-wheeler maker known for the Simple One scooter, is getting ready to add a new model called Simple Arrive to its range in India. Indian media reports say the scooter will be unveiled on 2 September 2026 in the Indian market, with customer deliveries planned from mid-2026.
Focus on daily use and comfort
Where the Simple One was aimed at riders who like a sharp, sporty scooter, Simple Arrive is being developed as a more practical option for everyday commuting.
- Design direction: Simple Arrive is expected to use a clean, simple body design with a focus on comfort, a long and wide single seat, and a flat floorboard that makes it easier to carry small bags.
- The scooter is likely to use front disc and rear drum brakes, with dual rear shock absorbers to improve ride comfort on rough city roads.
This setup could make the Simple Arrive better suited to typical urban riding in cities like Kathmandu, Pokhara and Biratnagar, if the model eventually reaches Nepal.
Expected features
Simple Energy has not yet shared full technical details. Based on the prototype and the company’s hints, Indian reports expect the Simple Arrive to offer:
- Digital TFT display for speed and trip information
- Small front storage cubby and USB charging port
- LED headlamp and slim LED tail-lamp
- Smartphone-connected features like remote alerts, viewing ride and vehicle data in a mobile app, and over-the-air software updates on higher variants
- A larger digital screen is expected on the top variant
Battery and hardware (as reported)
According to the same reports, Simple Arrive is likely to come with multiple battery choices:
- 4.5 kWh and 5 kWh battery options under development
- The company may also use the 3.7 kWh battery already seen on the Simple One S variant
- The prototype has been seen with 12-inch black alloy wheels at the front and rear
Official figures for motor power, certified range and charging time have not yet been disclosed. Buyers will have to wait for Simple Energy’s final specifications before making long-term plans around performance and range.
Price and possible impact for Nepali buyers
Indian media estimates the starting price at around Rs 1 lakh in India, which roughly converts to about Rs 1.6–1.7 lakh in Nepal before taxes and dealer margins. After import duties, transport and distributor costs, the likely ex-showroom price in Nepal would be noticeably higher.
For now, Simple Arrive is confirmed only for the Indian market, with sales targeted for the second quarter of 2026 there, according to the company’s planning. Nepali riders interested in this scooter will be watching to see whether local distributors decide to import Simple Energy products and how the price stacks up against existing electric scooters from TVS, Bajaj and Chinese brands.
