Bhatbhateni Supermarket has officially integrated 12 new Foton TM1 electric pickups into its logistics network. This move brings the retailer's total electric cargo fleet to 14 vehicles, which are now used to transport fresh produce directly from farmers to stores.
The Foton TM1 is a commercial electric pickup distributed in Nepal by MAW Vriddhi Commercial Vehicles. It features a 38.64kWh battery and offers an NEDC-rated range of 280 km. The vehicle is designed for urban cargo tasks with a payload capacity of 1,250 kg.
This expansion is part of a broader strategy to shift toward sustainable transport for daily distribution. The company plans to increase its electric fleet size and extend this delivery model to branches outside the Kathmandu Valley in the future.

The Foton TM1 is currently priced at Rs 26.99 lakh.
This development marks a significant step in adopting electric commercial vehicles for large-scale retail distribution in Nepal.
