Bajaj Auto has officially confirmed that a new-generation upgrade for the Pulsar 220 is currently under development. While the company has not provided a specific release date, industry expectations point toward a launch in early 2027. This follows the recent 2026 model year updates, which introduced LED headlights and refreshed graphics to the existing platform.

The upcoming model is expected to move to a more modern chassis, likely a diamond-type tubular frame. Anticipated technical improvements include an upgraded oil-cooled engine, electronic throttle control, and a TFT instrument cluster with advanced connectivity features like Google Maps and music control. Enthusiasts are also hoping for the addition of a 6-speed gearbox and upside-down front forks.

In the current Nepali market, the Pulsar lineup is well-established. The Pulsar 125 is priced at Rs 2.75 lakh, while the Pulsar 150 variants range from Rs 3.70 lakh to Rs 3.91 lakh. The Pulsar 220 has long been a staple of the brand's performance offerings, though it currently remains on the older platform.

Bajaj has clarified that other models, such as the Pulsar 180 and the Pulsar F250, are not slated for similar new-generation upgrades at this time. The focus remains on revitalizing the core Classic Pulsar range to meet modern performance and feature standards.

As this development concerns future models in the Indian market, official details regarding a potential arrival or pricing in Nepal have not been announced.
