VG Motors has confirmed that SRM electric vehicles have crossed 1,111 sales in Nepal.
The company has set a long-term goal of putting 10,000 SRM vehicles on Nepali roads.
VG Motors said SRM has found demand in passenger transport, school and institutional mobility, goods delivery and small businesses. The brand entered Nepal in August 2023.
To support growing use, VG Motors says it now has more than 30 service touchpoints across Nepal and access to over 100 charging stations.
It has also trained more than 1,500 mechanics in 40 districts, along with instructors from over 50 driving institutes, on EV technology and safety.
SRM vehicles sold in Nepal use CATL batteries, with warranty coverage of up to 6 years or 360,000 km, subject to terms.
VG Motors is also preparing to bring two electric trucks and an MPV to Nepal.
