New Vigo variant teased for Nepal
MAW Vriddhi, the authorized distributor for Dongfeng Nammi in Nepal, has teased a new Nammi Vigo variant on its official Dongfeng Nepal Facebook page. The new trim is expected to arrive in Nepal within this week, but full details are still under wraps.
What looks different
From the teaser image, the upcoming version appears to delete the panoramic sunroof that is fitted to the current Vigo sold here. A sunroof-free variant usually costs less to build, so this change could open the door for a lower starting price than the existing Vigo range. Nepal pricing and final equipment for this new trim have not been confirmed yet.
Existing Vigo powertrain and range
The Nammi Vigo in Nepal is already offered with two LFP battery options: 44.94 kWh (WLTP 300 km) and 51.87 kWh (WLTP 350 km). Both variants use a single front-mounted motor and support DC fast charging up to 167 kW, allowing a rapid 30–80% top-up.
Key features carried over
Current Vigo equipment includes a 12.8-inch infotainment touchscreen, 8.8-inch digital driver display, 360-degree camera, wireless charging, voice control and Level 2 ADAS. Other notable features are heated and ventilated driver seat, adaptive cruise control, ambient lighting, 18-inch alloy wheels, and a comprehensive safety package with six airbags, hill-hold assist, hill-descent control and traction control.
Whether all these features will remain unchanged in the new non-sunroof variant will only be clear once MAW Vriddhi publishes the full spec and price sheet.
