Shashila Motors has introduced XCMG electric tippers and container trucks to Nepal. These heavy-duty vehicles feature a 400 kWh battery capacity, designed for construction and industrial logistics.
Managing Director Santosh Khatiwada stated that the vehicles were selected after research into Nepal’s specific road conditions and commercial requirements. The company aims to support the transition toward sustainable transport in sectors like cement and construction material hauling. This initiative follows the company's earlier work in developing charging infrastructure in Butwal.

Shashila Motors has not announced pricing for these specific XCMG models. The arrival of these units marks a new step in the company's effort to expand electric technology into the heavy commercial vehicle segment in Nepal.
