Spy shots indicate a Roxx‑inspired front end with circular LED projector headlamps, C‑shaped DRLs, a new grille and bumper, plus updated LED tail-lamps and a revised rear bumper. Inside, Indian media expect features like a 10.25‑inch TFT instrument cluster, ventilated front seats, automatic climate control, auto‑dimming IRVM and a premium Harman Kardon audio system, bringing Thar closer to urban‑SUV comfort.
Mechanically, the facelift is expected to retain the current 1.5L turbo‑diesel, 2.0L turbo‑petrol and 2.2L turbo‑diesel engines, with 6‑speed manual and 6‑speed automatic options and selectable 4x4 on higher variants.
What it means for Nepali buyers
There is no official confirmation yet from Mahindra’s Nepali distributor about bringing this facelifted Thar here, so any Nepal arrival timeline or price remains speculative.
