Recent data shows the Creta remains a core part of the brand's portfolio. It accounts for approximately 55 percent of Hyundai's total SUV sales in India and about 15 percent of its overall passenger vehicle sales. The model achieved its highest annual performance during the 2025/26 financial year, with 2,01,921 units sold. However, sales for the first six months of the 2026/27 financial year saw a 10 percent decline compared to the same period last year, totaling 89,727 units.

Looking ahead, Hyundai is expected to introduce a new generation of the Creta in 2027. This upcoming model is anticipated to feature a ground-up redesign to maintain the SUV's competitive edge in the midsize segment. While the current version offers petrol, turbo-petrol, diesel, and electric options, details regarding the specific powertrain lineup for the next generation remain unconfirmed.
