Hongqi has officially entered the Nepali market with the launch of the EHS4 electric SUV, showcased at the NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo 2026 through Advanced Automobile Pvt. Ltd. under Vishal Group. This marks a significant milestone for the Chinese luxury automotive brand as it expands its footprint in South Asia.
The EHS4 is priced at Rs 5.999 million, with a special NAIMA offer price of Rs 5.799 million. This competitive pricing is aimed at attracting early adopters in Nepal's growing electric vehicle market.
Under the hood, the EHS4 is powered by a 160 kW electric motor that delivers 240 Nm of torque. It features a 67.1 kWh battery pack and boasts a 460 km WLTP range on a full charge. However, the new source reports a slightly lower claimed WLTP range of 420 km, which may reflect different testing conditions or updates in specifications.
Charging capabilities include DC fast charging, allowing the battery to charge from 30 to 80 percent in just 20 minutes. The battery is designed with durability in mind, carrying an IP67 rating for water and dust resistance.
In terms of dimensions, the EHS4 measures 4,520 mm in length, 1,873 mm in width, and 1,647 mm in height, with a 2,750 mm wheelbase. It utilizes a rear-wheel-drive layout, enhancing its driving dynamics.
The SUV is equipped with a range of premium features, including a panoramic glass roof, heated exterior mirrors, LED headlights, and a 14.6-inch central touchscreen. It also supports wireless charging, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto, ensuring connectivity and convenience for tech-savvy users.
Safety and driver-assistance technologies are comprehensive, featuring adaptive cruise control, lane-centering control, lane-keeping assistance, blind-spot detection, forward collision warning, autonomous emergency braking, and a 360-degree surround-view camera.
