Chery’s Q electric crossover has arrived in Kathmandu. It is the model’s first physical presence in Nepal before its public debut, and Pioneer Moto Corp., the authorized Chery distributor in Nepal, has brought it into the country.
What is confirmed
- The official Nepal unveiling is set for the **NAIMA Mobility Expo 2026 at Bhrikutimandap, Kathmandu, from August 11 to 16. - The Q uses a 41.2 kWh LFP battery and a 90 kW electric motor. - It has a rear-wheel-drive (RWD) layout and a claimed range of up to 400 km under the NEDC cycle. - Charging support includes 85 kW DC fast charging. The claimed 30 to 80 percent charge takes around 16 minutes. - The EV also offers Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) capability. - Inside, it gets a 15.6-inch infotainment touchscreen, a 540-degree camera system, and more than 20 ADAS features. - Boot space stands at 375 liters. With the rear seats folded, it expands to around 1,450 liters**.
The model is built on a dedicated EV platform. It has won the 2025 Red Dot Design Award and the 2026 iF Design Award. Nepal-specific variants and pricing have not been announced yet.
