Rajhans Automobile Pvt. Ltd., the Changan outlet for the Chitwan region under MAW Vriddhi Autocorp Pvt. Ltd., has started sales of the Changan Nevo Q05 compact electric SUV in Chitwan.
Variants and pricing in Chitwan
The Nevo Q05 is offered in two trims for this market:
- Nevo Q05 Max: Rs 48.99 lakh ex-showroom
- Nevo Q05 Ultra: Rs 51.99 lakh ex-showroom
Both versions share the same battery and drivetrain and use a front-wheel-drive layout. The Ultra sits above the Max by adding more comfort and convenience features.
Battery, charging and range
The Nevo Q05 for Nepal uses a 51.9 kWh LFP battery from CATL. It supports 3C fast charging with DC charging rated up to 162 kW. Under suitable conditions, the company claims a 30–80% charge in about 15 minutes.
Changan quotes a WLTC range of 405 km and an energy use figure of 12.9 kWh per 100 km.
The battery pack uses Changan's Golden Shield Battery 2.0 safety package, which combines CATL cells with the brand's own protection systems.
Performance
A 120 kW front-mounted electric motor drives the front wheels. Changan lists a 0–100 km/h time of 8.1 seconds.
This set of numbers places the Nevo Q05 as a compact family EV with a focus on usable performance rather than outright speed.
Our take

For Chitwan buyers looking at their first electric SUV, the Nevo Q05 Max at Rs 48.99 lakh and Ultra at Rs 51.99 lakh are competitive new options with fast DC charging and a claimed 405 km WLTC range, which makes the package look strong on paper for intercity as well as daily use.
