Rajhans Automobile, Changan’s authorised dealer for Chitwan under MAW Vriddhi Autocorp, is gearing up to launch the Nevo Q05 in Chitwan next week. The model coming to the district is the Nevo Q05 Ultra, offered at a special ex-showroom price of Rs 51.99 lakh.
Powertrain and range
The Nevo Q05 is a compact electric SUV from Changan’s new-energy line. It uses a 120 kW electric motor paired with a 51.9 kWh CATL LFP battery. On paper, the SUV claims up to 462 km of range under NEDC testing. That figure will help buyers benchmark it against other mid-size electric SUVs.
Charging and practicality
Fast charging support is a key draw here. The Q05 supports 3C DC fast charging, with the battery able to go from 30% to 80% in around 15 minutes in ideal conditions. Peak DC charging power is rated at up to 162 kW.
In size, the Nevo Q05 is 4,478 mm long with a 2,735 mm wheelbase. Boot space is 540 litres, and the rear seats recline for more comfort on longer trips. That should make it workable for family use and highway runs.
Global footprint and design recognition
Changan says the Nevo Q05 has crossed 125,000 units in cumulative global sales as of August 2026. The model has also received a Golden A’ Design Award, giving buyers some reassurance that the SUV’s styling and packaging have been recognised internationally.
For Chitwan, this launch marks a clear step-up in the choice of compact electric SUVs, and the Nevo Q05’s mix of range, fast charging and cabin space looks competitive on numbers.
Test drives and design leadership
Before the official launch, customers can experience the Nevo Q05 through special test drives from Bhadra 29 to 31 at the Deepal Chitwan showroom. This initiative allows potential buyers to directly experience the vehicle.
