Zero Motorcycles has officially set a new Guinness World Record for the longest journey by an electric motorcycle on a single charge. Belgian rider Jelle Verstaen covered 436.5 kilometers on a production Zero DS, surpassing the previous record by more than 125 kilometers.
The record-setting journey began in the French Alps and continued south toward the Mediterranean coast. The motorcycle used for the attempt was a standard production model fitted with the optional 3.6kWh Power Tank. This addition increased the total battery capacity from the standard 15.6kWh to 19.2kWh.

No special modifications were made to the bike. It ran on standard tires and maintained its factory configuration throughout the ride. The achievement was tracked via GPS and independently verified by Guinness World Records. This performance demonstrates the range potential of current production electric motorcycles when managed for efficiency.
